Forum
You may well call this place the Ifa-Orisha Forum, the Ifa Divination Forum, the African Traditional Religion Forum... and it would all be correct! You can use it for discussing all kinds of ATR-related burning matters like what the Babalawo thinks he does, whether African Vodoun is the same as Haïtian Vodou or New-Orleansian Voodoo, if Lukumi is simply another word for Santeria, why Traditional Yoruba is called Traditional Yoruba, why Candomblé first got rid of all their Ifa Priests and is now importing them again from other countries... all that, and much more!
This forum is using the "Vanillaforums" software, which has the advantage that it can be fully embedded on this very page, "embedded" meaning that it fits in seamlessly into the template and layout. In order to participate in discussions (to which you are cordially invited, of course!) you need to register for the forum. That can be done by filling out a few boxes, but it can also be done via your Facebook account... if you have any, that is. Either way, once you're registered you can come back anytime, log in (or you can also set your account to staying logged-in!) via your username and password or with your Facebook log-in... and you're ready to go! By the way... you may need to give the forum a couple of seconds to load. But hey... in Ifa-Orisha we do have patience, don't we (wide grin)?!
Last but not least: this forum knows very few rules, in fact only two: postings must be in English only, and you shouldn't piss me off. Fortunately the latter is pretty hard, so I trust we'll have a long lasting pleasant relationship!
