Iwori-Irosun
"When the day breaks we will not be the same
individuals that we were yesterday"
was the diviner who cast Ifa for the Fool,
who had been asking himself the previous day
what he should do and should have done.
He meditated on the issue, and he slept.
The next morning he still didn't know what to do.
In order to solve a problem one must proceed
day by day, and if possible month by month,
until you finally know what to do. The sacrifice
was four roosters, 8000 cowries, and medicine.
Put four iron nails in water, to drink.
Fool listened and made the sacrifice.
He heard that his ideas
would always lead him somewhere.
Then Fool knew what to do.
