that he was told that Olodumare
would only bring him good things.
They told him to sacrifice, in order
for his enemies not to have power over him,
not to steal his possessions. The sacrifice
was three knives, three roosters, and 6000 cowries.
Olakanmi listened and made the sacrifice.

"He who gives good things to slanderers
should not count on receiving thanks"
was cast for Temilomo, on the day
that he wanted to have a child, together with
(of all people!) the person who was the very source
of slander about good old Temilomo!
The ebo was made: 1 hen, 1 pigeon, 730 cowries.
