Ogbe-Oyeku
If was cast for a king who was de-throned.
Ifa says here i9s a person with a title or a position
from which he will be relieved, and another person,
sitting in a corner now, will be his successor.
All people will follow him and honor him.
There also is a deity who once was honored
by all the people in a house; but they don't
honor him anymore and the forest
has overgrown his shrine.
We must restore this shrine,
and decorate it with young palm leaves.
Still is the one who finds shelter in the corner
insulted by everybody, old and young,
but soon he will leave his corner
and become a public figure.
What is the offering?
It is a chicken in the house of the one
for whom this Odu fell.
The hen has young ones;
we shall sacrifice the hen and its children.
