Osa-Ogunda
A high Aaja said that he foresaw a war.
The prescribed sacrifice was not made.
Seven days later the war broke out.
Olibara had to flee the city.
Ebo: one ram, and money.
The anthill is the place where the busy ants group together.
A place of palaver in harmony is where human beings group together.
It was through grouping together that the earth was formed.
It was through grouping together that heaven was formed.
And it was in groups that all things and beings came down to earth.
No one was excluded when all beings were first created.
No one was excluded when all beings were formed and finished.
No one was excluded when beings poured down on earth like rain.
There was great goodness in grouping together in harmony.
The grouping together of the hairs of the head covers the head.
The grouping together of the hairs on the chin grows into a beard.
The grouping together of trees develops into a dense forest.
The grouping together of grasses grows the endless savannah.
The grouping together of reeds constructs the roof of the house.
And the grouping together of ants makes them cover the earth.
Alasuwada, The Great One who lets all beings go forth in groups, we beg you
to grant us things that are not solitary, but gathered in groups,
so that jointly they bring us all good things in life.
The busy bees form their large swarms,
plants growing together cover the soil of the farm.
It's from bundles of small twigs that we make brooms.
And grass grows in wide patches on the plains,
like the sparrows live and travel in flocks. Oh yes,
it is as groups that we experience the grassland;
it is as swarms that the locusts devour the crops;
it is in colonies that we encounter termites in their stony hills;
it is in groves that we perceive the trees on the water's bank;
it is in expanding patches that we find grass grow at the riverside;
it is in schools that we see fish swim in the ocean;
it is in swarmy clouds that we encounter the nimble dragon fly,
and no leaf on no plant is ever found alone
Indeed grouping together created the earth, and
the goodness of family is expressed in grouping together.
Now, if one person's Ori creates or encounters good,
this good will spread out and radiatingly touch two hundred.
If my Ori encounters or creates good,
this good wil spread out and radiatingly touch you;
and if your Ori creates or encounters good,
this good will spread out and radiatingly touch me!
For if just one Ori creates or experiences good
this good will spread out and radiatingly touch two hundred.
Oh yeas, everything good works from the inside out, radiating
outward and touching whatever it touches. If your life
gets better so does mine, and if my life gets better
so does yours. Let me be grateful to you, my Ori!
