Oyeku-Ika

"They stood up and followed him to Owa,
they made ebo in 200 different places"
cast for the center post in Owa's house,
on the place where the cowries were hidden.
Ifa said that if he made ebo,
he would have a long life.
The ebo was made.
Eshu took his part of the ebo and said:
"He does not know that this is how the awo's were punished."
He promised to sit down in heaven and help them, but first
of every part of the offering Eshu's part should be given to him.
They sang: "Adese, prosperity will never pass you by;
Adese, prosperity will never pass you by;
the son of Otun moba Iwonran ate broken yams
with oil until he grew fat, prosperity will never pass you by,
prosperity will never disappear, Adese prosperity."

Oyeku-Ika

Oyeku-Ika, like every combination with Ika, admonishes the client to be very careful of everything that is, might be or might become an infection. Take this in the broadest sense of the word. If you cut your finger, however small, put some iodine on it. If you take anything out of the fridge, look at the expiration date and when in doubt, don't eat it. Be careful what you eat, cook certain foodstuffs thoroughly to kill all possible bacteria. Stay away from places of possible infection or contamination. In this day and age the Ika warning alaso pertains to sex, unfortunately. If you have sex with anybody (with the possible exception of your regular partner), take care of good quality protection! Now don't get paranoid for Ifa does not say that you will get a nasty infection of inflammation or such, Ifa simply says that all combinations with Ika warn against the possibility, so you can take precautions.
