Oyeku-Irete
Afinjuyele, Okunrun-kojekewafuyi, and Awowonsan,
who were the awo's in Kuseru's house, cast for Kuseru.
They said there was a young boy in the house
who once had been slim and slender.
He had been attacked by a disease
that made his hands, legs, eyes en nose swell up.
They told Kuseru to make sacrifice,
in order for the boy to become healthy again.
The sacrifice was four pigeons, 44,000 cowries,
and ewe. Pour water on the bark of an aye-tree,
asunrun-leaf, lots of salt, and some small red peppers;
boil this in a pot and use the medicine
for bathing and drinking.
