Lóógun-ède
An Ijèsà deity, also known as Logun Ede, Logum Ede, and, mainly in Lukumi, as Laro. In Brazilian Candomblé Logum Ede is well known and massively worshipped. He is quite a character: vain, aloof, narcissistic, kind of arrogant, and a lover of all good things. People who have Logum Ede as their Head Orisha are usually pretty much the same way. He's not so much a warrior as well as an Orisha who achieves his goals by being charming, cunning and manipulative. For his children, their usual good looks do help! Logum Ede's father is considered to be Inle Ibualama, an Orisha of medicine.More then anything else, Logun Ede is an Orisha of wealth, opportunity, and lucky narrow escapes. He can be a good and loyal friend, bringing joy, riches and excitement.
In Lukumi Logun Ede is usually known as Laro instead. Again he is not a warrior there, but a fisherman and wise man, working with the sweet waters of the world to bring riches and wealth.
