Shango
Shango... does he need an introduction? Do you need an introduction, Your Majesty? shango is the Orisha of thunder and lighting, and te be frank he is kind of an excited and excitable character in hte Yoruba pantheon. He's a great warrior but als a great dancer, a prime example of male virility en energy. He seems to have three wives: Oba the warrior, Oya who rules the 2winds, and Oshun who rules erotic passion and lust. But... do these wives control him? One has ones doubts...
When saying the name shango, we hoist our butt off the seat we're sitting on, or at least lift our heels from the floor for a moment. That's out of respect for Shango as the King of Oyo.
