Generally speaking, a left-click on any thumbnail will send you to the original larger sized version of the pic, although in future you may encounter pictures that aren't any larger that the thumbnail. Part of our wildly overgrown backyard. The pic was taken in 2009, and by now you see even more green and less everything else. If you walk through the little gate next to the chicken coop, you'll imagine yourself to be in the African rain forest. Considering the Dutch climate, there's just as much emphasis in "rain" as there is on "forest!

Jaap and camel

Jaap, camel, pyramids...

One of my favorite pictures, taken by Caroline in april 2006 in Al Gizah, Caïro, Egypt. The reason why I like it so much is the fact that Caroline took it at the exact right split-secoend, when the camel and me happened to look in the same direction. In case you're not sure: the one with the cap is me, the one with the decorations is the camel.
